The 17AM series temperature controller is a temperature sensing, current sensitive, and resettable temperature controller. When the ambient temperature reaches its set operating temperature, the bimetallic sheet jumps and the moving contacts on the bimetallic sheet detach from the static contacts on the bottom plate, thereby disconnecting the circuit and providing over temperature protection.
